How does it work?

Step 1 - complete and submit the form below.
Step 2 - process your order and pay the online via credit card or any other method.
Step 3 - we will e-mail you draft documentation with instructions, to be signed by the director(s) and returned together with certified copies of ALL directors of the Company via e-mail/fax.
As soon as we have received your documents and a name has been reserved your company will be registered within 3 - 5 working days dependant on the workload at CIPC. *
The process works as follows:
- We submit your proposed names to CIPC for approval. Currently it takes around 1-2 working days for feedback from CIPC on the names submitted.
- If a name is approved we will e-mail you the name reservation document as well as draft documentation to be signed by each director.
- This signed documentation must be returned together with certified copies of each director via fax/e-mail.
- If no name has been approved you need to submit a new set of names at a fee of R120
- You will get an e-mail and SMS update on each stage of the process

How does it work?

How long does the process take?
As it is complex process, with CIPC requiring lots of documents and information this process takes around 4-6 weeks on average to complete. If the CC/Company has a property registered the process takes +- 12 weeks to complete.

Please make sure the following documents are faxed/e-mailed to us after you have completed the online application form:
Certified copy of the ID's of ALL members/directors of the CC/PTY.
Power of attorney form at the bottom of this page must be printed out, completed, signed as indicated and fax/e-mailed to us.
Affidavit indicating the reasons for the non-filing of annual returns.
Sufficient documentary proof indicating that the company/CC was in business or that it had assets or liabilities at the time of registration , e.g proof of selling and buying of goods and services, leasing or renting property and/or an active bank account.
Proof (photocopy) of advertisement placed in your local newspaper stating your intention to re-register the CC/Company. (sample will be e-mailed to once we have received your order and payment).

Important: To finalize the process annual returns must be submitted with CIPC after the CC/Company has been restored. Only after annual returns have been submitted to CIPC the CC/Company status will change to "In Business"

Co-operatives
A very simple definition would be to say it is a business where a group of people get together voluntary to obtain a product or service. From this one can see that the members must do business with the co-operative.

For example the co-operative could buy in bulk the inputs the members need to produce a certain product (e.g. flour to bake bread and cakes). The members then produce the product and the co-operative market sells it on their behalf (e.g. the bread and cakes are sold to the public by the co-operative).

A co-operative is a distinct form of enterprise that provides services and/or products to its members. Profits, known as surpluses in a co-operative, are divided among members in relation to the amount of the business each member did with the co-operative.

Registration procedure for a Co-operative
Before registering a co-operative, a formation meeting must be held to determine the aim and objectives and other details regarding the co-operative.

Formation meeting
Before registering a co-operative, a formation meeting need to be held with all persons that are interested in establishing the co-operative.
- The Chairperson outlines the aims and objectives of the proposed co-operative
- The Chairperson answers all the arising questions
- The Chairperson invites everyone to join
- Those interested should be given an application form for Membership to complete
- The persons that have completed the above-mentioned application form decide how many persons will be required to manage the co-operative
- The members will then elect the board of directors (the board of directors will be the management or steering committee of the co-operative)
Also discuss and agree on the following:
- The Objectives (exactly what the co-operative will do)
- The equipment, premises and other materials needed by the enterprise
- Where will the premises (co-operative office) be located
- How will the co-operative be financed? How will the funds be obtained?
- Draw-up an initial business plan
- Choose a name for the co-operative (and alternative names in case the first name is already registered by another enterprise).
Types of Co-Operative
Primary Acgricultural :
1. to undertake the marketing of agricultural products;
2. to process the agricultural products or to manufacture any article therefrom and to dispose of the product or thing into which it was
3. processed or articles so manufactured;
4. to hire, buy or otherwise acquire and to let, sell or otherwise supply requisites, necessary or used for or in connection with farming
5. operations;
6. to hire, buy or otherwise acquire, or produce or manufacture and to let, sell or otherwise supply any article of consumption;
7. to hire establish or erect and to use or make available for use facilities necessary for or useful in connection with farming operations;
8. to render services, necessary for or useful in connection with farming operations;
Primary Housing:
1. The object of the housing co-operative is to provide housing for its members, develop, hold and maintain
  immovable property and to make such houses available for use by its members or to sell such houses to its
  members in accordance with the co-operative principles.
2. Without in any way detaching from the provisions of the Act, the following co-operative principles shall
  serve as guidance in the activities of the housing co-operative:
- (a) the principle of open and voluntary membership;
- (b) the principle of democratic control by members of the housing co-operative;
- (c) the principle of fair economic participation by members;
- (d) the principle of a commitment to serve the housing needs of members;
- (e) the principle of autonomy and independence;
- (f) the principle that co-operatives should educate and train members and provide information to
- members to enable them to meet their obligations;
- (g) the principle of co-operation amongst co-operatives; and
- (h) the principle of the acknowledgement of a wider community and a responsibility towards future
- generations.

that are employed at any given time will not exceed 25% of the total number of members of the co-operative, as at the same given time.

The Construction Registers Service comprises the Register of Contractors and the Register of Projects which have been established in terms of the CIDB Act (Act 38 of 2000). How does it work?
Step 1 - simply complete the online form below and submit.
Step 2 - pay our service fee via credit card/EFT or bank deposit. This fee is for our service. After you have been registered you will also be assessed by Compensation Fund, This amount will be come payable upon registration.
Step 3 - send documents through as requested below.
Step 4 - We will send you a proof of submission to Compensation Fund within 5 -10 working days (stamped 1st page of the application form) and a letter on our letterhead stating that registration is in process.

What documents are needed?
A Company Registration Certificate (CK1/CK2/CM1+CM29/COR 14.3)
- In case of a CC/Company certified copies of the ID's of all of the members/directors.
- In case of a sole proprietor a certified copy of the ID of the owner of the business.
- You need to be registered with the Compensation Fund (if you are not, we will assist with this process)
- The annual fees payable at the Compensation Fund needs to be up to date. A letter of good standing can be obtained once the employer has complied with the requirements of the Act, inter alia :
- Employer must be registered with the Fund as per section 80 of the COID Act,
- Employer must have submitted all returns of earnings as per section 82 0f the COID Act,
- Employer must be fully assessed as per section 83 of the COID Act,
- Employer must have paid/ settled all outstanding debt as per section 86 of the COID Act.
Employers that have not yet been assessed by the Compensation Fund will first be assessed, up to the current assessment year, and are expected to pay all assessments in order to meet the criteria set out above.
As soon as we have received the application for a letter of good standing, we will request it from the Compensation Fund. If there are no outstanding returns/monies on the registration number, the letter of good standing will be e-mailed to you within 2 working days**

** VERY IMPORTANT:
If there are outstanding monies owed to the fund when we apply for the letter, we will notify the client of the outstanding amount. The client can then submit proof of payment to us. We will hand in the proof of payment with Compensation Fund. The letter of good standing will then be issued within +- 5 working days after the proof of payment has been submitted and Compensation Fund has no further queries.
If there are Return of Earnings (ROE) outstanding for one or more year(s) these ROE must be submitted, assessed by Compensation Fund and paid by the employerBEFORE a letter of good standing will be issued.
